To provide a secure online transaction platform, Fubon e-banking Service has recently employed the authoritative 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption technique. All data processed through Fubon e-banking Service will be encrypted and prevented from eavesdropping or stealing, to ensure its integrity and security.

 
Even better, Fubon e-banking Service has also introduced a new Two-factor Authentication Service1 to maintain the highest security level. The Two-factor Authentication Service uses a combination of two different factors to verify a user’s identity, so customers can enjoy enhanced protection when conducting online transactions. Once customer logins Fubon e-banking Service, a personal password is required as the first identification. When the customer continues to perform a designated online transaction2, a SMS-based One Time Password (OTP) will be issued to the customer by Fubon Bank; and then the customer is required to enter the OTP to complete the transaction instantly as the second verification. You can gain comprehensive protection with additional security measures by taking a few seconds only.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Two-factor Authentication Service is not applicable to corporate customers.
2. Designated online transactions shall include: (i) fund transfers to non-registered accounts in Fubon or other bank in Hong Kong, and (ii) bill payments to designated merchant categories of the "Banking and Credit Card Services", "Credit Services", "Securities Broker", "Catering Services", "Printing Services" and "Others".
3. The Bank shall not levy any service charge for the Two-factor Authentication Service. However, customers shall be required to bear all the fees relating to this service (e.g. SMS service fee collected by the service provider of the relevant mobile phone number).
4. The Bank reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice; and reserves the approval right of the Two-factor Authentication Service. In case of dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
