Data Center Manager, Infrastructure, Information Technology Responsibilities:
Provide technical management of a data center operation and ensure the agreed service levels are met with all relevant procedures
Manage both 7x24 operation team and production control team to provide overall data center and quality control service
Manage projects of production control team supporting products, such as job scheduler, data backup solution, system proactive monitoring solution … etc.
Manage and organize regular DR drill exercise and prepare drill report for management reporting
Ensure effective and efficient management of day to day data center operation
Plan, direct and coordinate all data center related activities and oversee, approve all implementation
Drive the improvement of processes and procedures on a continuous basis
Act as the subject matter expert across all technical aspects within the scope of role
Ensure all privilege IDs usage to access the production system by data center teammates in compliance
Define operational KPIs and metrics
Manage and improve the workflows and throughput for data center operations
Perform vendor management process to all vendors providing services and supplies to data center
Provide guidance and support to managed teams
Provide timely feedback to management regarding issue and data center related incident affecting the quality of service to the end users and customers
Requirements:
University graduate in I.T. or related discipline
With minimum 10+ years working experience in I.T. data center operation and 5 years in management level
Experience on managing data center facilities, knowledge in data center design, facilities setup and maintenance
Familiar with audit related both physical and logical security against industrial regulatory requirements
DR data center setup, failover and drill process
Experience in vendor management skills
Proactive and self-motivated, able to deliver project and service on time
Effective communication and liaison skills with positive thinking and service attitude
