3. | When can I receive the payment after registering Cash Payout Scheme? | ||||||||||||
Register the Cash Payout Scheme through Fubon e-banking Service and/or Fubon Mobile Banking Service: For successful registration within the first 10 days, payment will be deposited into the bank account specified by the registrants starting from 6 July. For registration submitted after the first 10 days, you will receive payment in approximately 1 week after successful registration. You may also select to submit your registration form by post or through banks’ drop-boxes. Registration will be opened by batches:
If you are an eligible person who has not submitted paper form registration during the registration commencement period of the batch he/she belongs may still submit your registration form at any time on or before 31 December 2021. Payment will be made about two weeks after successful registration. 7. | If I am a Hong Kong permanent resident, but my bank account in your bank was opened by using my passport, may this account be used for registration and receiving payment? | ||||||||||||
As banks will verify whether a registrant is the holder of a particular account based on his/her Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card (“HKPIC”) number, the Scheme only accepts local Hong Kong dollar bank accounts opened with a HKPIC for receiving payment. Therefore, you should bring your Original Permanent Hong Kong Identity Card and visit any of our branches for updating your identity record with us BEFORE submit of your registration. | |||||||||||||
8. | What should I do if I would like to change the registered information (e.g. account for receiving payment, contact telephone number) after I have submitted my registration? | ||||||||||||
If you find that you have submitted incorrect information after registration, please contact our Integrated Customer Service Hotline at 2566 8181 to check the progress of your registration. Depending on the importance of the related information and the progress of the registration, our staff may ask you to resubmit a new registration and cancel the existing registration. To avoid confusion and delay, you should not submit a duplicate registration until the existing registration is cancelled. | |||||||||||||

2. | Why I cannot find the “Cash Payout Scheme” section after logon Fubon e-banking? | ||||||||||||
The Cash Payout Scheme only allows registration from customer with a sole-name local HKD saving/current account. Therefore, “Cash Payout Scheme” section will not be displayed on joint account and corporate account customer after logon e-banking. | |||||||||||||
3. | Why I cannot choose my foreign currency account and credit card account as the account for receiving payment in the Cash Payout Scheme through e-banking or Mobile Banking? | ||||||||||||
Since the Cash Payout Scheme only allows local Hong Kong dollar bank account to receive payment, you can only select your Fubon HKD saving/current account as the account for receiving payment. Fubon credit card account and foreign currency account will not be able to register. | |||||||||||||
4. | If I have chosen to use the mobile phone number in the Bank’s record as the contact telephone number of the Cash Payout Scheme Registration and I changed my mobile phone number in the Bank’s record afterwards, will the SMS notifications related to this registration send to my new mobile phone number? | ||||||||||||
Yes. If you have chosen to use the mobile phone number as the contact telephone number in the Bank’s record, the Bank will use your latest mobile phone number in the Bank’s record for all the communications with you relating to this registration. | |||||||||||||

You may download the registration from the Scheme’s dedicated webpage, Hongkong Post’s website or our bank's website. Or you may obtain the form by visiting any of our branches; Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of the Home Affairs Department, District Social Welfare Offices of the Social Welfare Department, and Public Housing Estate Offices and Customer Service Centre of the Hong Kong Housing Authority. | |||||||||||||
2. | Which channel can I submit the paper registration? | ||||||||||||
You should provide the required information on the form, including name, HKPIC number, local contact telephone number (preferably an SMS-enabled local mobile phone number), name of the bank and the bank account number for receiving payment, then sign and submit it through the following channels:

3. | Can I submit my registration form by fax or email? | ||||||||||||
Our Bank does not accept submission of registration forms by fax, or scanned copies of the forms by email. | |||||||||||||
4. | If I don’t have local telephone number, can I provide an overseas or Mainland contact telephone number on the registration form? | ||||||||||||
You should provide a local contact telephone number (preferably an SMS-enabled local mobile phone number for receiving notifications from the bank concerned regarding the Scheme) on the registration form as far as possible. If you do not have a local contact telephone number, you may consider to provide a local contact telephone number of your relatives or friends, so as to facilitate communication with the HKSAR Government or the Bank concerned when necessary, such as receiving acknowledgements of registration and notifications of successful payment or unsuccessful registration. The HKSAR Government or the Bank concerned will contact you based on the information given on the forms or the contact details (e.g. email or postal address) kept by the bank when necessary if no local contact telephone number has been provided. | |||||||||||||
5. | Can I affix a seal or my fingerprints on a paper form instead of signing it ? | ||||||||||||
There are no restriction on the format for signing the registration form, you may affix a seal or fingerprints as your signature on the form. |
