Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for the “Fubon Cityverse” Campaign:

  1. The promotion period for the “Fubon Cityverse” Campaign (“Fubon Cityverse”) runs from 8 November 2023 to 8 May 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). Fubon Cityverse is provided by Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”).


Eligibility Requirements
  1. For the registration of Fubon Cityverse, users need to register with a valid Hong Kong mobile number and successfully complete the SMS verification. Registered user (“Participant”) must use the same registered mobile number in every login.
  2. Participants who fulfill all of the following conditions during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Customer(s)”) can participate in “Fubon Cityverse Sure Win Lucky Draw” (“Lucky Draw”) and “Fubon+ 1st Anniversary Limited Edition Octopus Campaign” (“Limited Edition Octopus Campaign”),
    • be aged 18 or above on or before 8 May 2024; and
    • hold at least one valid individual Bank Account in the Bank (includes Savings Account, Current Account and Multi-currency Account) or successfully submit application for individual bank account opening via Fubon GO during the Promotion Period and the application is subsequently approved by the Bank with bank account opened; and
    • log in Fubon Mobile Banking Service with Fubon+ at least once during the Promotion Period; and
    • use the mobile number that match with the Bank’s record to register Fubon Cityverse; and
    • have a valid Hong Kong local correspondence address in the Bank’s record.
  3. If the mobile number registered in Fubon Cityverse belongs to more than one account holder in the Bank’s records, the Bank will consider the first account holder who successfully logs in Fubon Mobile Banking Service with Fubon+ after registered Fubon Cityverse as the Eligible Participant.
  4. Fubon joint-named account customers and corporate account customers are not eligible for the Lucky Draw and Limited Edition Octopus Campaign.
  5. Participants who choose not to register Fubon Cityverse or fail to fulfill the criteria of Eligible Participants are still able to participate in the gaming facilities of Fubon Cityverse, but they are ineligible to participate in the Lucky Draw and Limited Edition Octopus Campaign.


Fubon Cityverse Game Facilities and “Fubon Coins”
  1. Participants can earn a designated amount of “Fubon Coins” by completing the designated requirements in various game facilities on the Fubon Cityverse webpage. Participants are required to register or log in to Fubon Cityverse before entering the game facilities or immediately after the game session ended. Otherwise, the game results will not be included in the calculation. Details are as follows:

Once a game session starts, if Participants refresh / exit / close the browser during the game or early ended the game session due to network issues or other unforeseen reasons, that game session will not be counted and the “Fubon Coins” earned will not be saved or reissued. The count of game played will not be deducted as well.
  3. In the game facilities “Mission Temple”,
    • the content provided in the fortune stick is for reference only. The Bank does not constitute any express or implied warranty, statement or guarantee to such content. The Bank is not responsible for any legal liability or obligation for any loss and damage arising from or in connection with such content. The Bank reserves the right to omit, suspend or edit all content compiled with the “Mission Temple” at any time in its absolute discretion without giving any reason or prior notice. Participants shall assess and verify all content contained and obtain independent advice before acting upon the content.
    • each designated task is subject to the description on each random Mission Card. Participants must complete the mission within the designated date on the Mission Card. Participants could receive the number of “Fubon Coins” and / or rewards described on the Mission Card after completing the mission. The content provided in the Mission Card is for reference only. It shall not be construed as an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer or recommendation to purchase or sale or provision of any products of the Bank. Participants shall choose relevant products according to their own or actual needs and financial affordability.
    • If Participants draw the same Basic Fortune Stick repeatedly in the Promotion Period, Participants can still earn the number of “Fubon Coins” described on the repeated Basic Fortune Stick. If Participants draw the same Mission Card repeatedly in the Promotion Period, Participants can still earn the number of “Fubon Coins” described on the repeated Mission Card. However, the rewards and / or “Fubon Coins” earned after completing the mission can be awarded once only for the same mission during the Promotion Period.
    • If the reward specified on the Basic Fortune Stick / Mission Card is credit card bonus points rebate or cash rebate, Participants have to hold at least one valid individual Fubon Bank Account or principal card of Fubon Credit Card Account and completed designated mission in order to earn the reward specified on the Basic Fortune Stick / Mission Card. If the reward received by Participants is a credit card bonus points rebate, the Bank will credit it into the Participants’ valid principal card of Fubon Credit Card Account within the period described on the Basic Fortune Stick / Mission Card and will be shown on the cardholder’s principal card monthly statement. The credit card bonus points earned are non-transferable. General Terms and Conditions for Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program apply. If the reward received by Participants is a cash rebate, the Bank will credit the cash rebate specified on the Basic Fortune Stick / Mission Card into the Participants’ valid individual Fubon Bank Account. If individual Fubon Bank Accounts held by Participants are not denominated in Hong Kong Dollars, the Bank will credit the equivalent value of cash rebate to the Bank’s selected account based on the other currency accounts held by Participants. The order of account to be credited and the foreign currency conversion rate for which cash rebate is credited are determined by the Bank without prior notice, while the foreign currency exchange rate is based on the exchange rate on the date of deposit.
    • The number of “Fubon Coins” earned after completing the mission on the random Mission Card will not be displayed in the Fubon Coins Earned Record of Fubon Cityverse. The total number of the redeemable Lucky Draw tickets will be calculated by the Bank after the Promotion Period for participation of the Lucky Draw and Limited Edition Octopus Campaign ends. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank should be final and conclusive.


  1. Eligible Participants can convert the earned “Fubon Coins” into Lucky Draw tickets. Every 3,000 “Fubon Coins” can convert to 1 Lucky Draw ticket, without a limit on the number of ticket conversions. The Lucky Draw is subject to the Term and Conditions for “Fubon Cityverse Sure Win Lucky Draw”.


Fubon+ 1st Anniversary Limited Edition Octopus Campaign
  1. Eligible Participant, whose total “Fubon Coins” earned during the Promotion Period have reached the designated amount, can earn the corresponding quantity of Fubon+ 1st Anniversary Limited Edition Octopus (“Limited Edition Octopus”). Details are as follows:
    • Total “Fubon Coins” earned more than 218,888 coins can get one Limited Edition Octopus (random style); or
    • Total “Fubon Coins” earned more than 388,888 coins can get two Limited Edition Octopus (random style); or
    • Total “Fubon Coins” earned more than 558,888 coins can get a set of Limited Edition Octopus (included three different styles).
  2. There are three styles of Limited Edition Octopus. Eligible Participants, who are entitled a set of Limited Edition Octopus, can receive three Limited Edition Octopus cards in different styles. The remaining Eligible Participants can receive the style in random. The Limited Edition Octopus cannot be chosen and replaced.
  3. Each Limited Edition Octopus will have different stored value in Hong Kong Dollar (maximum HK$88). The Limited Edition Octopus has no deposit and is non-returnable and non-cash redeemable. Limited Edition Octopus with different stored value are randomly distributed and cannot be chosen and replaced.
  4. Eligible Participants will receive the redemption notification for the Limited Edition Octopus on or before 9 August 2024. Eligible Participants are required to redeem the Limited Edition Octopus according to the instructions stated in the redemption notification. Redemption is subject to the Terms and Conditions listed on the redemption notification.
  5. Eligible Participants who fail to redeem on the redemption period stated in the notification, the chance of redemption will be cancelled or forfeited. The Bank reserves the right to deal with all forfeited Limited Edition Octopus in such manner as the Bank shall deem fit. Redemption notification is not replaceable in the event of any loss or damage.
  6. Participants shall notify the Bank if the redemption notification is not received on or before 23 August 2024. The Bank assume no liability and will not offer any compensation to the Eligible Participants in respect of any failure to receive the redemption notification.
  7. The Bank reserves the right to offer alternative prize as a replacement without prior notice in case of shortage or any other issues.


General
  1. The Bank reserve the right to modify or update the content of the Fubon Cityverse website without prior notice after the launch of Fubon Cityverse promotion. The details of "Fubon Coins" that can be earned and the conversion of Lucky Draw tickets will not be affected.
  2. Participation in this promotion represents the Participant’s understanding of, acceptance, and willingness to comply with the Terms and Conditions for the promotion launched by the Bank. If there are any dishonest and / or fraudulent acts by the Participants in Fubon Cityverse. The Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Participants from this Fubon Cityverse and the Lucky Draw. The Bank also reserves the right to deduct the "Fubon Coins" or any other rewards from the participant’s Fubon Cityverse account.
  3. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate this campaign or amend the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
  4. All information, including personal data provided by the Participants, will only be used by the Bank for the purpose of this promotion, including the arrangement with third parties for organize this promotion.
  5. For all records of services and cumulative record of "Fubon Coins” in Fubon Cityverse, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  6. Other than the Bank and Eligible Customer, no one shall have the right to enforce or enjoy the benefits of any of these Terms and Conditions under Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623, Laws of Hong Kong).
  7. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  8. Should there be any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.


Term and Conditions for “Fubon Cityverse Sure Win Lucky Draw”:

  1. The promotion period for “Fubon Cityverse Sure Win Lucky Draw” (“Lucky Draw”) runs from 8 November 2023 to 8 May 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).


Eligibility Requirements and Lucky Draw Opportunity
  1. Users who have registered “Fubon Cityverse” Campaign can earn a designated amount of “Fubon Coins” by completing the designated requirements in various game facilities on the “Fubon Cityverse” webpage during the Promotion Period. Every 3,000 “Fubon Coins” can convert to 1 Lucky Draw ticket, without a limit on the number of ticket conversions. The remaining “Fubon Coins” that are insufficient to convert Lucky Draw ticket will be invalid after the Promotion Period. For details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions for the “Fubon Cityverse” Campaign.
  2. The Lucky Draw is exclusive to individual customers of Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”) and fulfill all of the below requirements (“Eligible Customer(s)”):
    • be aged 18 or above on or before 8 May 2024; and
    • hold at least one valid individual Bank Account (includes Savings Account, Current Account, Multi-Currency Account) or successfully submit application for individual bank account opening via Fubon GO during the Promotion Period and the application is subsequently approved by the Bank with bank account opened; and
    • log in Fubon Mobile Banking service with Fubon+ at least once during the Promotion Period; and
    • use the mobile number that match with the Bank’s record to register “Fubon Cityverse”; and
    • have a valid Hong Kong local correspondence address in the Bank’s record.
  3. Fubon joint-named account customers and corporate account customers are not eligible for the Lucky Draw.


Lucky Draw Prizes and Winners / Prizes Redemption Notification
  1. The Bank will calculate the Lucky Draw ticket entitled by each Eligible Customer after the Promotion Period ends. Each Lucky Draw ticket is considered as a chance of the Lucky Draw.
  2. Lucky Draw Winners will be randomly selected by computer for the following prizes (“Prizes”) based on the Lucky Draw tickets received by each Eligible Customers (“Winner(s)”). Each Winner will only be entitled to one Prize in the Lucky Draw.
  3. The list of Winners will be announced at the Fubon Bank website on or before July 2024.
  4. All the Prizes cannot be transferred, changed, returned, or converted into cash (only applicable to 2nd to 9th Prize).


1st and 10th Prizes - Cash Reward
  1. The Cash Reward will be deposited to the Winner's individual Fubon Bank Account on or before 9 August 2024.
  2. Winners must hold at least one valid individual Fubon Bank Account at the time the cash reward is credited. Otherwise, the Bank will not credit the Cash Reward to any other accounts for any reasons or forms. The Bank reserves the right not to grant reward without prior notice.
  3. If the individual Fubon Bank Accounts held by Winners are not denominated in Hong Kong Dollars, the Bank will credit the equivalence value of Cash Reward to the Bank’s selected account based on the other currency accounts held by Winners. The order of account to be credited and the foreign currency conversion rate for which Cash Reward is credited are determined by the Bank without prior notice, while the foreign currency exchange rate is based on the exchange rate on the date of deposit.


8th Prize - Fubon Credit Card 40,000 Bonus Points
  1. The Bank will credit Fubon credit card bonus points to Winners’ valid principal card of Fubon Credit Card Account automatically on or before 9 August 2024, and will be shown on Winners’ principal card monthly statement. The credit card bonus points earned are non-transferable. General Terms and Conditions for Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program apply.
  2. Winners must hold a valid principal card of Fubon Credit Card (not limited to any Fubon Credit Cards) to redeem the Prize. Winners who do not hold a valid Fubon Credit Card must successfully apply for a Fubon Credit Card on or before 1 August 2024. Otherwise, the Bank will substitute cash reward of equal value and credit into the Winner’s valid individual Fubon Bank Account. For Terms and Conditions for cash reward, please refer to Clause 9-11.
  3. If Winners do not hold any valid individual Fubon Bank Account or principal card of Fubon Credit Card Account at the time the credit card bonus points or cash reward is credited, the Bank reserves the right not to grant reward without prior notice.


2nd to 7th Prizes, 9th Prize - Prize Reward
  1. Winners will receive the notification for the Prize redemption on or before 9 August 2024.
  2. Winners are required to redeem the Prize according to the instructions stated in the redemption notification. Redemption is subject to the Terms and Conditions listed on the redemption notification.
  3. Winners who fail to redeem within the redemption period stated in the notification, the chance of redemption will be cancelled or forfeited. The Bank reserves the right to deal with all forfeited the Prize in such manner as the Bank shall deem fit.
  4. Redemption notification is not replaceable in the event of any loss or damage.
  5. Winners shall notify the Bank if the redemption notification is not received on or before 23 August 2024. The Bank assume no liability and will not offer any compensation to the Winners in respect of any failure to receive the redemption notification.
  6. The Bank reserves the right to offer an equal or higher value Prize as a replacement without prior notice in case of shortage or any other issues.
  7. The color and model of the 2nd to 4th Prizes cannot be chosen and replaced.
  8. The 4th prize already includes SONY PlayStation® 5 (CD – Version) game console and single controller.


  1. 5th Prize - Hong Kong to Taipei Economy Class Air Ticket for 2 (“Air ticket”):
    • This Air ticket is subject to Cathy Pacific’s Terms and Conditions. Cathy Pacific is solely responsible for any issues related to the redemption of this Air ticket. Any disputes or complaints regarding this Air ticket shall be resolved between Winners and Cathy Pacific.
    • Winners are required to redeem the Air ticket according to the specified validity date and instruction stated on the redemption notification. Overdue will not be re-issued.
    • This prize is only applicable for booking of two economy class air ticket from Hong Kong to Taipei. The travel period is stated on the redemption notification, and is subject to seat availability of the selected travel dates. The seat arrangement of the carrier will be allocated by Cathy Pacific at its sole discretion.
    • This Air ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable once confirmed. If the journey has changed and need to revise the departure date and fare type etc., Winners need to bear any cost related to the revision on their own.
    • The prize does not cover any applicable taxes, cost of levy, fuel surcharges and check-in baggage fee. Winners are required to bear these costs on their own.
    • If this Air ticket fails to depart due to any force majeure factors (such as flight cancellation, rescheduling, failure to leave the country or compulsory quarantine caused by the pandemic), or Winners’ personal reasons, The Bank are not responsible for any loss and will not make any refund or compensation to the Winners.

  1. 6th Prize – Local Theme Park Hotel 1-night Standard Room accommodation Staycation Package (“Staycation Package”):
    • This Staycation Package is subject to Terms and Conditions of the hotel. The hotel is solely responsible for any issues related to the redemption of this Staycation Package. Any disputes or complaints regarding this Staycation Package shall be resolved between the Winners and the hotel.
    • Winners are required to redeem the Staycation Package according to the specified validity date and instruction stated on the redemption notification. Overdue will not be re-issued.
    • This prize is only applicable for booking of designated Local Theme Park Hotel 1-night Standard Room accommodation. The accommodation period of this Staycation Package is stated on the redemption notification, and is subject to hotel room availability of the selected accommodation dates. The accommodation arrangement of the carrier will be allocated by the hotel at its sole discretion.
    • This Staycation Package is non-transferable and non-refundable once confirmed. If the Winners need to revise the accommodation date and room type etc., Winners need to bear any cost related to the revision on their own.
    • The hotel may from time to time, change the operating hours of the hotel, close the hotel or any part of them temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to the hotel, due to capacity, inclement weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or considers that the circumstances so require, or unable to enjoy the Staycation Package due to Winners’ personal reasons.   1. 7th Prize – 5-Day MyWay Travel (Single Trip) Policy – Plan B (“Travel Insurance”):
    • The insured person of this Travel Insurance must be Hong Kong Resident.
    • Winners are required to redeem the Travel Insurance according to the instructions stated in the redemption notifications on or before 10 February 2025.
    • This Travel Insurance is applicable on 5 days single trip from 9 August 2024 to 9 May 2025 (both dates inclusive).
    • MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited ("MSIG") is the insurance underwriter of this Travel Insurance and is authorized and regulated by the Insurance Authority. MSIG is not an associate or subsidiary company of the Bank. This Travel Insurance is not the product of the Bank. MSIG is solely responsible for all approvals, coverage and compensation under this policy and reserves the right of final approval and decision on such matters.

  1. 9th Prize - Deliveroo HK$50 e-Gift Cards (“e-Gift Card”):
    • The use of e-Gift Card is subject to its terms and conditions. Deliveroo is solely responsible for any issues related to the redemption of this e-Gift Cards. Any disputes or complaints regarding this e-Gift Cards shall be resolved between the Winners and Deliveroo.

General
  1. To be entitled to the Prizes, Winners are required to maintain Fubon Internet Banking Service and hold a valid individual Fubon Bank account at the time of the Prize’s redemption.
  2. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate this Lucky Draw or amend the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to customers. In case of any dispute arising from the Lucky Draw method, the eligibility of the Winner, the details of the Prize and all related matters of Lucky Draw, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
