To enjoy a realm of privileges, you should maintain a total relationship balance of USD100,000 or more (i.e. your total deposits and investments) at Fubon Bank and follow the 4 steps below to submit your request, our representative will contact you within a week to follow up on the account opening process:

Download and complete Account Opening Request Form and Global Application Form for Accounts and Services ( For Individual, For Corporate/Entity);
3. Submit the required account opening documents stated in the Checklist, or for enquiry of "examples of residential address proof", please click here;
4.
Mail to Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd, Support Service Co-ordination Unit, 9/F, Fortress Tower, 250 King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong
Attention: Overseas Account Opening.

Remark: Initial on every page for non-continuous page of Account Opening Forms at the bottom of the right hand corner.


Please note that this application mode is not applicable to Taiwanese nationals who reside in Taiwan, if you wish to open a Bank Account/Securities Account with Fubon Bank, please visit any of our branches for account opening.

To enjoy a realm of privileges and manage your finances in a simple and convenient way, you can open an account with us without visiting our branches in Hong Kong in person. You can simply complete the account opening forms of the Bank at our designated attestation network in the Mainland.

Please follow the simple steps below and our representative will contact you to follow up the account opening process:

1. Download and read the Global Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Services and Notice to Customers and Other Individuals Relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and Consumer Credit Data, List of Service Charges for Retail Banking Services and List of Service Charges for Cross-border Account Opening Services (via Witnessing Arrangement) ;
2.
3. Bring along with the Required Account Opening Documents and visit our designated attestation network in the Mainland for witnessing process;
4.
Send the Required Account Opening Documents to Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd, 8/F, Fubon Bank Building, 38 Des Voeux Road, Central, Hong Kong by mail attention to “Channel Support Department” , and specify “Cross-Border Account Opening Services via Witnessing Arrangement”.

Important Reminder for Bank Account Opening

Important Reminder for Bank Account OpeningFubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Fubon Bank” or “the Bank”) would like to remind its customers and the public that Fubon Bank does not involve any intermediaries for account opening. Customers should open account by visiting any branches of the Bank or through our Mobile App “Fubon GO”. Customers should open accounts and set up passwords with their own mobile phones or electronic devices. They should not submit application with mobile phones or electronic devices provided by third parties. If you suspect any promotional booths set up by banks or the identity of bank staff, please call our Integrated Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2566 8181 for clarification.

Note:
Please note that for processing of inward remittance, Fubon Bank (the “Bank”) may rely, without further investigation, upon the account number provided by the sender in the swift message to remit the funds to the beneficiary. Any errors, including misidentification of beneficiary(ies), incorrect or inconsistent account names and numbers, or misspellings for the inward remittance, are the Customer’s sole responsibility. The Bank shall not be liable for any error in the proper identification of the beneficiary.
