General Terms and Conditions of Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program:

1. Unless otherwise specified, the validity period of Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program (the “Program”) is from 14 March 2023 to 31 December 2024, both dates inclusive (“Validity Period”). For rewards redemption, it is subject to the receipt of application by Fubon Bank (the “Bank”).
2. To be entitled to the relevant bonus point, cardholder is required to make transaction(s) using Fubon Visa Infinite Card (the “Card”) issued by the Bank during the Validity Period.
3. Cardholder can earn bonus point (the “Point(s)”) for every HK$1 spending in a single transaction made by the Card (including principal and supplementary cards), details are as follows:

   All of the overseas transaction rewards are only applicable to the transactions settled in local currency rather than in Hong Kong dollar.
4. The Program is only applicable to retail purchase, other transactions including but not limited to cash advance, administration fee, finance charges, annual fee; bill payment to Inland Revenue Department, category of Insurance or Pension Services and chips transactions are not applicable (“Eligible Transaction”). All Programs (except the basic 1X Point) are not applicable to online bill payment via Fubon Internet Banking Service, retail purchases with installment plans and other specified transactions.
5. Calculation of the Point will be based on issuance date of the approval code of the Eligible Transaction, and the Point will be credited to cardholder's principal card account on the posting date (please refer to the relevant terms and conditions for details of extra Points under “Fubon Credit Card Upgrade Reward Program” and “Overseas Transaction Extra Bonus Point Program”). No Point will be offered to any unposted, cancelled or refunded transactions. Cardholder will be entitled to one of the above-mentioned Programs once for each Eligible Transaction.
6. The Points and gifts from different Card accounts under the same cardholder will be accumulated and redeemed separately. The Points accumulated will be valid for up to one year (calculated by Membership year). Due date of the Points will be shown on the cardholder’s principal card monthly statement. Voided or expired Points will be automatically purged and cannot be extended or redeemed. Purged Points will not be shown on the monthly statement.
7. To be entitled to the relevant Points and for redemption of the Points, all Card accounts at the Bank under the same cardholder shall be valid and in normal status.
8. In case if a transaction for earning Point(s) is cancelled or refunded after it is posted, the Bank will reverse the relevant Point(s) from the Card account. If the Point(s) are already redeemed which cannot be reversed, the Bank reserved the rights to debit an equivalent amount in accordance to the ratio of 1 Point = HK$0.004 from the Card account without prior notice. All accumulated Points will be forfeited immediately from the date of Card account termination (regardless of any reason).
9. The maximum Points to be earned by Fubon Visa Infinite Card cardholder on each monthly statement will be triple of their Cards' credit limit (except the extra Points under “Fubon Credit Card Upgrade Reward Program” and “Overseas Transaction Extra Bonus Point Program”). The cap of Points is not applicable to temporary increase of credit line.
10. Customers who register via Fubon Internet Banking Service or Fubon Bank Integrated Customer Service Hotline at 2566 8181 can redeem the Rewards free of charge. If it is made via mail-in or fax-in, HK$10 administrative fee per application will be charged. The required Points or administrative fee (if applicable) of rewards redemption will be deducted from the cardholder’s Card account and the related transaction will be shown in the coming cardholder’s card monthly statement.
11. Multiple rewards redemption is allowed. All rewards items are limited in quantity and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. In case if there is insufficient stock, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the ordered rewards with another one without prior notice. No cancellation or alteration is allowed once the application is submitted.
12. In the event that the Card account does not have sufficient Points for rewards redemption, the relevant redemption shall be cancelled automatically without prior notice.
13. For cash coupon redemption, a redemption letter or the relevant cash coupon(s) (if applicable) will be mailed to cardholder's card monthly statement address within 4 to 6 weeks (cardholder will be notified of the redemption details upon phone registration); while for cash credit redemption, it will be credited to cardholder’s principal card account directly and will be offset the statement balance in the next monthly statement.
14. The use of cash coupons is subject to the terms and conditions on the redemption letter or cash coupons. The Bank is not the product supplier or service provider of the relevant merchant offers and the offers details and the relevant photos are provided by the relevant product supplier or service provider. The Bank makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products, services or information provided by the product supplier or service provider, and shall not be liable for any matters arising from or in connection with the products, services or information provided by the product supplier or service provider. Any claim, complaint, or dispute arising out of, or in connection with, the said products, services or benefits shall be resolved between cardholders and the relevant product supplier or service provider.
15. The operation of Points enquiry and/or redemption in credit card account is only applicable to principal cardholder.
16. The acceptance or rejection of the application of rewards redemption shall be at the discretion of the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or cancel the above Program and amend the relevant terms and conditions (including but not limited to the rewards items and the required Points) at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
17. The use of the Card (including principal and supplementary cards) shall also be governed by the terms and conditions of “Fubon Bank VISA/MasterCard Cardholder Agreement”.

Terms and Conditions of “Fubon Credit Card Upgrade Reward Program”:

18. To be entitled to the relevant bonus points, cardholder is required to make local online transactions in Hong Kong dollar (“Valid Transactions”) using Fubon Visa Infinite Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by the Bank during 14 March 2023 to 31 December 2024 , both dates inclusive (“the Validity Period”).
19. The extra 8X Point will be awarded for every HK$1 spent, each transaction will be calculated separately.

20. Eligible Card earned under this program is 80,000 Points per month.
21. To be entitled to extra 8X Points, cardholder is required to successfully perform registration using the principal card of Eligible Card via the automated voice response system of Fubon Bank Integrated Customer Service Hotline at 2566 8181 (press 1 > 7 > 2 after language selection). Separate registration is required if cardholder has more than one principal card of Eligible Card.
22. The extra Points entitled by the corresponding card account under this program will be started from the month of registration made, and will be credited to the account of principal cardholder according to below schedule:

23. Local online transactions mean transactions with official payment records made online in accordance with the merchant codes/transaction types as defined by VISA International or a merchant's acquiring bank, regardless of the transaction country but must in a currency of Hong Kong dollar. If the transaction in Hong Kong dollar is made with any merchant which is not registered in Hong Kong, surcharge on cross border transactions will be applied in accordance with “Fubon Credit Card List of Service Charges”. Regarding the country of registration of individual merchants, please make enquiry to the merchant, the Bank is not directly or indirectly responsible or liable to the related information.
24. This program is not applicable to all retail purchases with installment plans and transactions made via mobile wallets. Other transactions including but not limited to cash advance, administration fee and finance charges are also not applicable. No Point will be offered to any unposted, cancelled or refunded transactions.
25. General terms and conditions of the Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program apply.

Terms and Conditions of “Overseas Transaction Extra Bonus Point Program”:

26. To be entitled to the relevant Points, cardholder is required to make transactions using Fubon Visa Infinite Card issued by the Bank during 14 March 2023 to 31 December 2024 , both dates inclusive (“the Validity Period”).
27. This program is only applicable to transactions of New Taiwan Dollar, Yen or Won during the Validity Period, each transaction will be calculated separately :
    a) New Taiwan Dollar: 5X Point under Other non-Hong Kong Dollar Transaction and the extra 15X Point under this program will be awarded for every HK$1 spent;
    b) Yen or Won: 5X Point under Other non-Hong Kong Dollar Transaction and the extra 5X Point under this program will be awarded for every HK$1 spent;
28. This program is not applicable to all retail purchases with installment plans. Other transactions including but not limited to cash advance, administration fee and finance charges are also not applicable. No Point will be offered to any unposted, cancelled or refunded transactions.
29. Calculation of the extra Points under this program will be combined (including principal and supplementary cards) . The maximum extra Point earned under this program is 120,000 Points per month or 480,000 Points between 14 March 2023 to 29 February 2024 and between 1 March 2024 to 31 December 2024. The extra Points will be credited to cardholder’s principal card account within 2 months from the month of transaction.
30. General terms and conditions of the Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Program apply.

Terms and Conditions of Bonus Point Conversion to Asia Miles:

31. Unless otherwise specified, the validity period of Bonus Point Conversion to Asia Miles (the “Conversion Program”) is valid until 31 December 2024 (subject to the receipt of redemption application by the Bank).
32. The Conversion Program is only applicable to Fubon Visa Infinite Card, Fubon Platinum or Titanium Card, excluding YATA Platinum Card or Titanium Card.
33. To be entitled to convert his/her Points into Asia Miles (“Mile(s)”), cardholder shall be a Cathay member.
34. To convert Points into Miles, the conversion rate is 15 points to 1 mile. Each Miles conversion must be a minimum of 1,000 Miles and subsequently in a multiple of 500 Miles. Application will not be accepted if the converted amount is less than 1,000 Miles. If the conversion is not made in multiples of 500 Miles, it will be rounded down to the nearest multiples of 500 Miles by the Bank without prior notice.
35. A handling fee of HK$50 will be charged for every 5,000 miles conversion (In any circumstances, the handling fee will be rounded up to the nearest multiples of 5,000 miles). A minimum of HK$250 and a maximum of HK$500 handling fee will be charged for each conversion.
36. Cardholder can only convert Points into Miles via mail-in or fax-in. Administrative fee for the Program rewards redemption will not be applied.
37. The required Points being converted to Miles and the handling fee will be deducted from cardholder's principal card account, and the related transaction will be shown on the coming cardholder's card monthly statement.
38. Converted Miles will be credited to the designated Cathay member's account under the name of principal cardholder within 4 to 6 weeks.
39. The Bank will not be responsible for any awards redemption provided by Cathay.
40. All questions and/or disputes regarding cardholder's eligibility to convert Points to Miles under the Conversion Program will be decided by the Bank and Cathay at its sole discretion.
