Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer, Infrastructure, Information Technology
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support 24x7 network (voice and data) infrastructure environment and product
  • Manage equipment rooms
  • Participate in various IT projects to setup network infrastructure and provide support
  • Communicate with other IT support teams, vendors and users for network service requests and changes
  • Troubleshooting and solving network related production issues. Network infrastructure performance monitoring and tuning
  • Prepare network infrastructure related documents including but not limited to procedures, diagrams, standard operations process and capacity planning report
  • For Senior Engineer, assist Section Head to train junior engineers, plan for daily support activities and Manage vendor to meet SLA


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • CCNA, CCNP and ITIL 3.0 Certifications
  • CISSP and CCIE Certification are an advantage
  • For Engineer, minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in network infrastructure
  • For Senior Engineer, minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in network infrastructure management two to three years of supervisory or management experience
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco router / switch / firewall, Juniper / Palo Alto / Bluecoat Firewalls, Avaya POE switch, FS load balancer, McAfee IPS / IDS, PulseSecure SSL VPN, NAC, Proxy appliance and etc.
  • Familiar with network management utilities including but not limited to SolarWind, WhatsUpGo and Cisco Work
  • Familiar with Avaya IP Phone, PABX and Voice Recording System would be an advantage
  • Independent working ability to complete assignment
  • Proven problem troubleshooting and solving skills with an emphasis on a timely resolution
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other technologists and business partners to maintain a secure and reliable network infrastructure
  • Excellence interpersonal and presentation skills for interfacing technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin would be an advantage
