To cater for the needs of Hong Kong citizens who love the thrill of shopping with quality at great prices and convenience, Seiyu (Shatin) Co. Ltd. and Fubon Bank are glad to announce the launch of the brand new Seiyu Visa card. The card aims at providing customers with surpassing joy and satisfaction in life. Cardholders are entitled to a range of long-term discounts (privileged shopping day and Interest-free Installment Plan), perpetual annual fee waiver, and purchase rebate ratio up to 3% as well as other numerous benefits.

Six different types of Visa cards are launched under two main themes for customers’ selection with a range of benefits such as perpetual annual fee waiver, up to 3% purchase rebate as well as "One Family" Octopus Automatic Add-value Service and Bonus Points Scheme. Seiyu’s considerate and courteous service and Fubon Bank’s professional and creative banking services complement each other. This will bring enjoyment and quality life to customers.

The brand new Seiyu Visa card amazes our customers by the unique and incredible benefits, which is the most worthy credit card for consumers.


Cardholders can enjoy a series of comprehensive and long-term discounts including 5-10% off on regular-priced, net-priced, fixed price items and designated consigned commodities. Also, upon purchase of $2,000 with Seiyu Visa card each month, customers are entitled to $50 cash coupon (equals to 2.5% rebate). The remaining bonus points will be accumulated and automatically rewarded to “accumulated balance of bonus points” which will be cleared every half year. $50 will be rebated to cardholders (=1% rebate) upon accumulating each $5,000 balance. What is more, under the “Fubon Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme”, every HK$1=1 bonus point and each 10,000 points will earn HK$50 (=0.5% rebate). One purchase gives customers three types of rewards, shopping become a more pleasurable experience for everyone.


Upon purchase of $2,000 on designated commodities and electrical appliances, cardholders are entitled to interest-free installment plan with installment tenor of as long as 24 months. Besides, even for purchases made at other merchants, customers can also apply for an installment plan. All installment plans will offer the 1st repayment period of up to 88 days as well as bonus points on each repayment.


Seiyu Visa Card takes care of all aspects of customers’ daily life. The "One Family" Octopus Automatic Add-value Service not only gives customers great convenience, but also offers bonus points (every $1 top-up earns 1 bonus point). The plan allows up to 3 family members to register and each successful applicant will receive 5,000 bonus points.


Wonderful welcome gifts will be rewarded to cardholders who register successfully on or before 31 March 2006. Principal cardholders can select $100 Seiyu cash coupon, an electric water kettle or a ceramic heater. Supplementary Cardholders can get as much as 15,000 bonus points.

Seiyu Visa card application forms are now distributed in Seiyu Department Store and Fubon’s Shatin branch. Customers can also download the form from Fubon Bank’s website. Customers are welcome to contact Fubon credit card customer service hotline at 2566 8181 for further details.


From now on to 16 October, customers can submit their application forms together with all necessary documents to Seiyu card service counter on 3/F at Seiyu Department Store. A temporary Seiyu privilege card will be given to applicants to let them enjoy the discounts and benefits instantly.
