Terms and Conditions

  1. The “Bank” means Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
  2. “Promotion Period” is from 15 December 2025 to 28 February 2026, both dates inclusive. There are 5000 quotas available, first come first served, while supplies last.
  3. To be entitled to HK$50 cash reward “the Reward”, customer is required to fulfill ALL of the below requirements:
    1. Successfully applied for the "Money Safe Protection" service through branches, Fubon Internet Banking or Fubon+ mobile banking app; and
    2. Deposit the below listed minimum amount or more into 'Money Safe Protection' and maintain for at least 30 calendar days; and
    3. Customer must still hold a valid Fubon magi©money manager Hong Kong Dollar Interest-bearing Current Account or Fubon HKD Statement Savings Account when the bank deposits the Reward.
  4. The Fubon Bank ”Money Safe Protection” Offer “this offer” is applicable to individual accounts and joint accounts. Corporate accounts are not applicable.
  5. All rewards in this promotion are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for other products or any discount offers.
  6. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.
  7. With regard to this promotion, the interpretation of related terms and conditions, and eligibility for any rewards, the Bank reserves the right of final decision in case of any disputes.
  8. All promotions and services are subject to the relevant terms and conditions. For details, please consult our staff.
  9. Services and transaction records involved in this promotion shall be based on the records of our bank.
  10. The actual application time is affected by network conditions, network service suspensions or interruptions, mobile device processing time, and other factors. Fubon+ services are only available in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. For detailed information and terms and conditions of Fubon+ services, please refer to our bank's website or contact our staff.
  11. The bank will credit the relevant cash rewards into the eligible customer's Fubon magi©money manager HKD Interest-bearing Current Account or Fubon HKD Statement Savings Account on or before 30 April 2026. However, the customer's Fubon magi©money manager HKD Interest-bearing Current Account or Fubon HKD Statement Savings Account must still be valid and in good standing on the date the cash rewards are deposited.
  12. Each eligible customer can only enjoy the Reward once during this promotion. Joint account will be treated as a single customer.
  13. These terms and conditions should be read together with the Bank's "Global Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Services”, available at www.fubonbank.com.hk. In the event of any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Global Terms and Conditions for Account and Services, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  14. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the above promotion or amend the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Terms and conditions of the above promotion are available on our website, as well as all the latest details including the changes, suspension, or cancellation mentioned above. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
  15. Any person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap.623) to enforce or enjoy any benefits of these terms and conditions.
  16. For the account’s fees & charges and terms & conditions of accounts & other banking services, please refer to the existing “Global Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Services”, other relevant terms & conditions for banking services and List of Service Charges for Retail Banking Services of the Bank or contact the staff of the Bank for details.
  17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  18. Should there be any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.


Risk Disclosure and Important Note:
The value of RMB is subject to the risk of currency exchange rate fluctuation. Customer should bear the risk of RMB exchange rate fluctuations which may cause profit or loss if customer chooses to convert RMB to HKD or other currencies. RMB is currently subject to regulatory and foreign exchange restrictions (which might be changed from time to time).

Foreign currency investments are subject to exchange rate fluctuations which may provide both returns and risks. The fluctuation in the exchange rate of currency may result in losses in the event that the customer converts the currency into other currency.

Notice to Customers:
Fubon Fixed Deposit Accounts, Fubon Target Saving Plans, Fubon Magi©money manager Interest-bearing Current Accounts, Fubon Statement Savings Accounts, Fubon Magic Children Statement Savings Accounts and Fubon Classic Current Accounts are deposits qualified for protection by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong. Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is a member of the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong. Eligible deposits taken by the Bank are protected by the Scheme up to a limit of HK$800,000 per depositor.
