Senior Production Control Analyst, Infrastructure, Information Technology
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the batch job processing plan and operations guide
  • Enforcing daily processing schedule to meet service level
  • Review batch job performance and provide tuning recommendations
  • Identifies problem and suggest for processing enhancement
  • Interfaces with application team / users to ensure requests are come with pre-defined standard
  • Work closely with the application support team and the owner of the system to ensure that the required hardware (such as servers and network equipment) and software (such as operation system, system software and supporting tools) are available before the implementation
  • Conduct batch runs for User Acceptance Test (UAT) region
  • Conduct the Operation Acceptance Test (OAT) prior to system enhancement or implementation. Batch processing procedure, backup procedure, hardware support & maintenance procedure, security management procedure and recovery plan will be review during the OAT
  • Provide training I skill transfer to data centre operation team
  • Provide management and audit reporting for products, e.g. program promotion, scheduling change and release of operation procedure
  • Providing timely feedback to Data Center Manager regarding issues affecting the quality of service to the client
  • Assist with DR projects
  • Implements system changes
  • Assist data center related procurement projects


Requirements:

  • Diploma graduation or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Certification in computer programming is preferred
  • At least 5 years data center operation experience, less years also welcome as junior position
  • Knowledge in enterprise computer in AS400, UNIX/ LINUX and Windows environment especially in banking or finance industry
  • Familiar with software including batch job scheduling, backup and version control
  • Familiar with change implementation control and SDLC cycle will be in advantage
