Terms and Conditions for Fubon Credit Card x Klook Exclusive PromptPay Flash Offer (“Flash Offer”):

  1. The promotion period for the Flash Offer runs from 6 May 2024 to 5 June 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Customers are required to fulfil all of the requirements below in order to enjoy the Flash Offer (“Eligible Customer(s)”):
    i) The Flash Offer is exclusive to customers of Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank” /”Fubon Bank”) with individual account and have set Fubon Bank as the default receiving bank of mobile number using FPS Addressing Service and maintain such addressing setting at the time of cash rebate is being awarded.
    ii) Within the Promotion Period, customers are required to log into the Klook merchant website or the Klook mobile application and complete a transaction using a Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) credit card. There are no limitations on the transaction amount or product categories purchased from merchants.
    iii) From 6 May 2024 to 1 September 2024, both dates inclusive (“Designated Period”), customers successfully complete a transaction at a Thai merchant that supports PromptPay ("Thailand QR Code Payment") through QR code payment feature on Fubon Bank mobile application ("Fubon+") in Thailand.

  3. Upon fulfilling the requirements set out in Clause 2, Eligible Customers can enjoy HK$100 cash rebate. Each Eligible Customer is entitled to the Flash Offer once only during the Promotion Period.
  4. Customers who are eligible for the cash rebate are required to maintain Fubon Bank as the default receiving bank of mobile number in FPS Addressing Service and hold a valid individual Fubon Bank HKD account at the time of cash rebate is being awarded. Otherwise, the related cash rebate will be forfeited and will not provide to the Eligible Customer in any alternative method. The Bank reserves the right to deal with all forfeited cash rebate in such manner as the Bank shall deem fit.
  5. The cash rebate will be deposited to the active individual Bank HKD account that is registered in the Bank FPS Service for customers who are eligible for the cash rebate on or before 31 December 2024. The Bank will not announce the results and / or notify to the customers who are eligible for the cash rebate individually.
  6. Eligible Customer(s) are required to register the Bank FPS Service and activate FPS Cross Border QR Payment Service with Mobile Security Key before proceeding the Thailand QR Payment. The network location of Eligible Customer(s) must be in Thailand while using the Thailand QR Payment and it is subject to the network location detected by the Bank. Thailand QR Payment can only make payment through scanning QR Code of merchants that support FPS x PromptPay. Some non-participating banks’ QR codes or PromptPay personal QR codes do not support FPS x PromptPay. The Bank is not responsible for any failure of transaction payment due to customer's own reasons, network issues or other unforeseen reasons, and will not distribute cash rebates or make any compensation for any reason or forms.
  7. This Flash Offer can be used along with “Thai Easy-Pay” Promotional Offer and Fubon FPS Thailand QR Payment Promotional Offer at the same time.
  8. The cash rebate cannot be converted into other equal value item.
  9. The maximum quota for this Flash Offer is limited while quota last. The Bank will not calculate and notify customers of the remaining quota of this Flash Offer during the Promotion Period.
  10. Joint-named account customers and corporate account customers are not eligible the Flash Offer.
  11. For all records of services and transactions in this Flash Offer, record of the Bank shall prevail.
  12. Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is not the product supplier or service provider and the Bank shall not assume any liability whatsoever resulting from or in connection with, whether directly or indirectly, such products, services, or benefits. Any claim, complaint, or dispute arising out of, or in connection with, the said products, services or benefits shall be resolved between Cardholders and the relevant product supplier or service provider. Nevertheless, where practicable and appropriate, the Bank will provide reasonable assistance to customers in the dispute resolution process.
  13. The Bank and the relevant merchants reserve the right to vary or terminate the Flash Offer at any time and to amend the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. In case of any dispute arising from the rebate method, the eligibility of Eligible Customer(s), details of the cash rebate and all related matters, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
  14. If there are any dishonest and / or fraudulent acts by the Eligible Customer(s) that led to the cash rebate of this Flash Offer, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Eligible Customer(s) from this Flash Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to deduct the cash rebate to the Eligible Customer(s) directly from the Eligible Customer(s)’ bank account without prior notice or take legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

  16. Other than the Bank and Eligible Customer(s), no one shall have the right to enforce or enjoy the benefits of any of these Terms and Conditions under Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623, Laws of Hong Kong).
  17. Should there be any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
